Who we are?

I was born and raised in one of the villages in Kenya; the last of 13 children born to peasant farmers. Of all these, only 5 are living the rest including my Parents are all deceased. Our Parents struggled to give each one of us some formal education. Ever since I was a young girl, I have had a passion to help people. This is evidenced by fetching water from the river, firewood from the forest, vegetables from the garden, cleaning houses; sweeping mud floors for those who needed help especially those well advanced in age and some who were blind. I have come to love Jesus as my Savior and Lord and realized that He wants me to introduce others to Him and get them ready for His soon return. My passion is to reach others for Christ.

I am married and blessed with three children. I migrated to the US about 20 years ago, took up a career in; a fulfilling career as it aligns with my passion of serving those who need help. I have remained in touch with family/friends in my native land. I have since learned of needless and preventable deaths especially of the children related to poor sanitation, poor nutrition, dirty water unhygienic living conditions, and the lack of knowledge. This is a heart breaking fact; something need to the done about it. Sometime last year, I got a strong impression to go back and bring hope to the masses that are suffering/dying without. This is a difficult decision, because I am comfortable. But, what is comfort if other human beings are suffering? I shared this idea with friends, who have embraced the idea and would like to join hands to get this done. We are a team willing to sacrifice our all for this course and need your help; our Chief Partner is God.

The Riagumo Health and Wellness Center will specialize in areas of prevention and wellness through various programs. We will endeavor to enhance the health and well-being of families in Riagumo, surrounding areas and from all walks of life. Above all the services offered will point people to Jesus Christ.
